Technical features
SV A DV/DVR
Suitable for low carbon steel wire rods. Equipped with two vertical rod stems, each able to hold a 2,000 Kg coil.
Each stem can be hydraulically tilted to a horizontal position for coil loading.
Overhead pay-off is possible by means of a column connecting the two stems and a guide-cone. The whole line may be stopped using a snarl switch.
A wire accumulation device is located between the pay-off and descaler.
The SV A DVR is seated on a motorised, rotating bed.
SV A DVP
A purpose-studied solution to pay-off wire from two reels, optimising wire feed to a wet drawing machine.
A pneumatic cylinder moves the arm over the reels (previously positioned side by side), ensuring a continuous and highly efficient operation, since it is no longer necessary to stop the line for reel change.
This pay-off comes supplied with inductive proximity microswitches which stop the whole line in the event of wire breakage and prevent wire from exiting the dies. The line can therefore be restarted very quickly.
The SV A DVP is also equipped with a wire accumulator with a switch to stop the line in the event of wire tangling during pay-off.
SV A 1150 DM
The machine structure comprising steel sections can be secured to the ground using screw anchors.
Pressure regulator and manometer to adjust wire/strand tension.
Automatic stop function in the event of wire/strand breakage.
Different internal or external dancers may be used depending on max. wire section and whether or not wire separation is required.
